I met Anne Marie while driving near Scottsville, Ky. She had a produce stand there and I bought many fried pies her during the years. I asked her parents if I could paint her and they said yes......stating that she had always wanted to be an artist also. She around twelve years old when the painting was done. She's now a school teacher in the menonite community near Scottsville.
