Southern American Realism

This was a commisioned painting for a friend of mine who was a big Marilyn Monroe fan.....he actually redecorated his den around this painting. He had a large collection of plates and any kind of Marilyn collectables. He told this painting topped it off as we had an opening for it at the gallery when it was finished and unveiled.
